Il IV Circolo didattico di Latina, scuola moderna dotata di buone strutture, opera nell’omonima città del Lazio ubicata in prossimità del Mar Tirreno, a 60 Km. a sud della capitale. Latina, “città nuova”, “senza mura”, fondata nel 1932 (con il nome di Littoria al centro delle Paludi Pontine bonificate), è abitata oggi da più di 120.000 abitanti. Capoluogo della Provincia Pontina costituita nel 1934 sul luogo delle antiche Paludi oggetto di Bonifica integrale ad opera di Benito Mussolini e delle quali ne evoca ancora oggi la preesistenza ambientale the Circeo National Park. Con il varo dell’autonomia scolastica, Legge delega n. 59 del 1997, e L.C. del 18 ottobre 2001, n. 3, è stata riconosciuta all’istituzione scolastica l’autonomia, elevata a rango di dignità costituzionale, e la giurisdizione del IV CIRCOLO DIDATTICO di LATINA (LTEE004006@istruzione.it ), precedentemente più estesa, è stata territorialmente dimensionata sulle seguenti scuole:

Esiste da sempre una forte interazione di continuità tra le nostre Scuole e le Comunità e le Agenzie del Territorio Pontino e naturalmente con le iniziative lanciate e sostenute dal vicino PalaCultura (Teatro Ragazzi Latina).
